A Perfect Day is a photographic series that explores the complexities hidden beneath idyllic surfaces. Through a juxtaposition of dull skies and uneasy expressions against a serene beach setting, the series invites us to question conventional ideas of perfection. It presents a fictionalised account of an ideal couple immersed in a seemingly flawless day. The photographs encourage introspection, to reflect on the contrast between inner and outer appearances, or the pursuit of an idealised version of life. Nothing is ever as it seems.
