My work aims to find beauty in the mundane, capturing fleeting moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. Using film photography and sculpture, I document intimacy, human connection, and the everyday spaces we inhabit. Inspired by the raw and personal narratives of Nan Goldin, I focus on the quiet, in-between moments that hold a feeling of nostalgia.

While photography is at the core of my practice, I have recently begun to explore how physical materials, particularly clay, can extend these ideas. By making and photographing objects, then placing them in unexpected contexts, I examine how meaning shifts through documentation. A key question in my work is whether photographing something changes its essence, stripping it of its original form or offering new ways to engage with it.

This interest in recontextualisation is influenced by surrealism, particularly the way it frees objects from their usual associations and allows them to take on new significance.Through this process, I explore ideas of memory, perception, and storytelling. Whether through film photography or sculpture, my work is an ongoing attempt to elevate the overlooked and present the familiar in a new light.
